Yorkshire Dales Retreat
The brief was to create a luxurious, comfortable yet practical interior to sleep up to 10 people including a large living area with open plan kitchen, en suite bedrooms and a walled garden for entertaining.
Turnkey Design
Retired many years previously as a cattle shed, this stone property sits within the Lune Valley with stunning views of the famous Ribblehead viaduct.
Working closely with the client, contractors and the local National Parks authority, Oliver set about designing the interior to address the brief and create a stunning holiday experience.

Agriculture to Art
Blackened timber was used to clad the walls on the ground floor and stairwell to provide a natural warmth to the aesthetic. Modern furniture, art and materials were used to offset against the rustic surroundings.
As this was a former cattle shed, many elements of the design are a subtle reminder of its agricultural past. Note the dining chairs, cabinet handles together with natural fabrics and artwork.
