Oliver Steer

After graduating in Architecture and combined Business Studies in 2003, Oliver first became Junior Assistant and then Senior Design Assistant for a leading design practice in Chester before setting up his own practice in 2005.

Oliver travels the World in search of inspiration and this reflects both in his extensive knowledge of the industry and also his engaging, warm personality.

Oliver’s achievements and commitment to professional interior design has seen him become a member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID), formerly British Interior Design Association and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).

Practice Manager

Brian joined the Oliver Steer team in October 2013 with a qualified and experienced background in project coordination. After graduating from Brunel University with an honours degree in Industrial Design in 2004, Brian worked as a Design and Project Manager for a high profile interior design & build consultancy, managing projects up to £15m in gross value. Brian is fluent in English, Cantonese and Swedish.

After retiring as Executive Assistant to the former President and CEO of the NSG Group, formerly Pilkington plc, Jean joined Oliver Steer in 2010 as Practice Secretary.

Cheryl Finch

Accounts

Cheryl joined Oliver Steer in February 2013 as a freelance accountant, bringing a considerable knowledge in accounts management. Cheryl is an MBA with more than 20 years' experience in her field, from working as a bilingual PA at board level in the entertainment business to finance manager at one of the UK's Big 4 accounting firms, KPMG, in London and Manchester. Cheryl has a degree in French and is also fully conversant in Sage, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other key applications. She has also worked for merchant bank Henry Ansbacher, accountancy giant Coopers & Lybrand and in the public sector.
